The Intercultural Facilitation Program

In this online course you’ll receive a complete guidance for a successful life in contact with a new culture.

The Intercultural Facilitation Program is designed for everyone who relates to people of another culture through work, cooperation, a foreign partner, a life abroad and who have difficulties with:

  • Making contact
  • Mutual understanding
  • Communication
  • Regulating emotions
  • Achieving desired goals

Thanks to this course you will:

  • Reach mutual understanding
  • Make pleasant contact and fruitful relations with others
  • Embrace change
  • Feel free
  • Find your own pathway in the new challenging environment

You’ll learn:

  • How each of us mentally organize and represent the world around us
  • What culture is (not)
  • Which cultural differences you will encounter in the new intercultural setting
  • How to process cultural shocks
  • How to recognize and regulate your emotions caused by the new situations
  • How to determine your own path and achieve your personal goals in the intercultural setting

The Intercultural Facilitation Program consists of fourteen lectures that you can take at your own chosen speed. I do advice you to not take more than one lecture per day, enabling you to really digest the new insights and practice new skills. All lectures take maximum 15 to 30 minutes. The exercises following them can take more time. Yet, they are vital if you want to accelerate your integration process.

"In her online course Eva Geerts provides a ladder of both support and opportunity for those of us interested in learning more about cultural awareness. Her mix of theory, advice and powerful storytelling will help prevent you slipping into misguided assumptions about people. The result is an understanding of how the different perspectives and wisdom of other cultures can enrich our lives and invite innovation and success both at home and at work. Anyone like Eva who is prepared to promote our understanding of cultural awareness gets my vote."
